As a customer you can pay by card online, by logging on to Professionals Online.
Anyone can pay by card over the phone, by bank transfer, cheque or cash.
The cheapest method for regular cleaning is via our discounted standing order based system called Simply Clean.
For one-off cleaning you get a 14% discount by paying up front - the cheapest method. You can get a 7% discount by paying a 25% deposit up front. Any balance is due on the day.
How does our pricing work?
The pricing policy of The Professionals is based upon passing on cost savings to customers who help us keep our costs low in administration and payment processing/chasing.
Customers who choose to pay by methods which involve more administration can do so but fund their own costs by paying a little extra.
This allows us to pass on the lowest possible price to customers who pay quickly and efficiently which apart from anything else seems only fair.
Simply Clean - The Cheapest Option For Regular Cleaning
Whichever regular cleaning service you choose from The Professionals - domestic or commercial - a discounted rate is available by paying via our Simply Clean, standing order based payment method.
With the Simply Clean scheme you pay a fixed amount by standing order - weekly, fortnighly or monthly.
This means that you don't have to remember to write a cheque or to pay each time. We, in turn, don't have to track payments, process them, or remind anyone - it allows us to, well, simply clean - hence there is a cost saving which can be passed on.
The Standing Order
When you start a Simply Clean scheme you take a judgment on the number of cleans you think you will skip or miss during the course of the year - because you are on holiday, say. It doesn't actually matter whether you end up having more or less cleans than you thought - it is just an estimate.
We give you something which shows you what your standing order should be based on the number of cleans. It is calculated by splitting the cost of the cleaning with your holiday removed, into equal payments across the year.
What Happens if I have more or less holiday?
It doesn't matter - our computer system keeps track of how much cleaning you have actually had during the course of the year. Any balance in your favour can be settled at any time or carried over to the next year.
Many customers take advantage of the fact that we can do things such as oven cleans or carpet cleans, as a company, and have these things done whilst they are away....but this is purely your choice.
A Domestic Simply Clean Example
A Simply Clean domestic customer who has a weekly clean would also pay weekly - 52 payments by standing order during the year.
You choose how many 'skipped weeks' during the year that you want but the default is 4 for domestic cleaning.
With this default a standing order is set up to cover the cost of the 48 remaining cleans during the year, across 52 weekly payments.
Note that this customer who chose the Simply Clean option, is also charged at an underlyingly lower rate for their 48 cleans, as well as having the payment spread over 52 weeks.
A Commercial Simply Clean Example
A business having their office cleaned once a week might be closed for 2 weeks during the year.
The 50 weeks of cleaning are split across 52 weekly payments during the course of the year.
